Been wasting all morning trying to solve a MySQLI database problem for my small company. I deleted some rows for products we don't sell anymore, but when I list orders it is still using the old structure. WTF???
Oh well, got an old fart meet up later at a nice local farm.

Morning all
Just a hint of a wisp from my vantage point. Currently 24 degrees ('feels like' 26) with a high of 32 expected. Barometer down to 1020 mBar.
Sunrise 04:52; Sunset 21:19 BST
I didn't stay up to watch the football. There was fortunately less comment on it on R4 Today than I feared too.

From what little I recall from nearly 60 years ago, falling off a James motor scooter at about 10 mph along a red ash road is pretty unpleasant. I dread to think what 100mph is like.Originally posted by NickFitz View PostThis evening’s viewing was 24 Hours in A&E. Turns out sliding along a road at 100mph without protective gear doesn’t do much for your complexion
.
Morning.
Monday.
We lost.
So much for the sombrero and the tequila.
. It's a horned helmet and Aquavit next, then.
.
Dry.
Grey.
Sunless.
Can't see the top of Drummau so it's either raining or about to rain.
21.6 deg in here, 22.25 in the kitchen, 21 in the leanto.
1014.5 mBar, 29.96 in Hg, 760.9 Torr, 14.71 psi, (down from 1017 last night), 68% RH (Lidl electric).
Meanwhile on the 1st of April 2020 AndyGarbs, Anonimouse, churchill, eek, and wattaj popped in, while Brillo popped in a lot, with churchill finding that his late mum had "invested" in various scam gold coin "quarter sovs" that were a proper ripoff (as one might expect from the endless adverts on daytime tv) and the battery back up was even more of a ripoff. Fun getting old, innit?
.
Shopping trip to Morrisons started well then turned into a stagger due to the leg playing up again: done dusted washed dried santised & put away.
Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: the random postcode thing on R4: OX2. Seemingly a hairdresser who doesn't wear shoes.
Classic Movies: Flash Gordon (not to be confused with Flesh Gordon, a somewhat different production lacking music by Queen).
Further Out of Town with Jack Hargreaves. Wonder if he'll kill owt in this one.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; Today, 11:06.

Morning all
Misty earlier on, but that has burned off, apart from in the valleys.
A pleasant long walk was had earlier. Looks like it could be another hot one today.

Morning denizens
It’s a sunny start as things begin to warm up again, and the wind which sounded very blustery last night has died down a fair bit, though it’s still there. Currently 18°C, it’s expected to reach 28° for a sustained period this afternoon. The barometers are down at 1006/1014mB, though that won’t stop the heatwave which is expected to reach 31°C again this week, but only on Friday; the rest of the week toys around with the high twenties. As of this time next week, things will start cooling back down a bit

And tonight, I started reading Eve’s Hollywood by Eve Babitz, her book about growing up in Hollywood. She said it was a novel, but it’s generally assumed to be more of an autobiography with perhaps a few minor embellishments
Monday again tomorrow
Goodnight all

Yesss! Haarland! GOOOOAAAAALLLLL
HWMBO made a very nice dinner. Some form of aubergine and pork mince omelette with garlic fried rice. Followed by a fruit salad made with longan, lychee, red and white dragon fruit, and mango.

Just been watching “Over my dead body”. Is it bad that I thought it was a comedy, particularly at the end?
Now trying to dump heat out of the house - it’s 25C inside, 18C out now.

Tea has been ribs (out of the freezer) and chips
This was mostly because it was quick and easy, as I’d been working on new forum stuff all day and hadn’t realised the time

Just make fruity ice pops with the blended mix. Much nicer for next week's heatwave.Originally posted by NickFitz View Post
True, but bananas have potassium! And I like mango
Anyway, now I’ve got all this fruit taking up space in the freezer, I’ll have to use it up somehow

Afternoon all
Cloudy start but not any more despite what my weather app says. Currently 27 degrees and that's the high for the day. Barometer is at 1023 mBar.
Sunrise 04:51; Sunset 21:20 BST
Didn't visit Mum today; headache still lingering from Friday night as I spoke too soon in thinking it had passed. However, HWMBO and I did go to big Tesco, as Fevertree tonic is on offer, and to do some general shopping. Now sitting in the dark with the fan on, waiting for the sun to go away.
