Morning.
Saturday.
Grey in parts, blue in others.
Wanly sunny.
Dry.
Windy, very.
Cool in here at 18.1 deg, 17.5 in the kitchen, 16 in the leanto.
998 mBar, 29.47 in Hg, 748.56 Torr, 14.4747 psi, (up from 993 last night), 61% RH (Lidl electric).
Meanwhile on the 20th of February 2020 BR14 popped in, along with eek, WTFH was listening to the guineas, and LM's attempted skive off was ruined by a crash on the M4 link that led to gridlock, whilst there were blue skies for some, for others it was snowing, with a bit of flooding thrown in for good measure.
Shopping trip to Morrisons done dusted washed dried sanitised & put away.
Walk (unabbreviated, towpath) walked in the semigale: dry for 95%, then a squall passed over & I was rained on.Last edited by DoctorStrangelove; Today, 09:56.

It also works if I put v143 into troubleshooting mode, which made me think it was a plug in that doesn't work properly with v143. However, turning off each plug in, in turn, didn't reveal the culprit.
It also doesn't work in the current Android version. Not that I played it on my phone as the screen is way too small
I tried reverting back to v142 but the hassle of then setting up a new profile to work the way I like it got too tedious.
A bunch of crash reports have been submitted, as well as a load of broken website reports. Now I'm going to bed.
Tonight's major motion picture premiere here was Wrath of Man (2021) in which Jason Statham seeks revenge, as he so often does. It also follows the standard pattern of having a brief bit of dialogue about him having an English accent near the start; I assume it's easier to write that in than it is to train him to speak in an American accent. Anyway, it's good, but sombre throughout; nary a moment of light relief in this one
And then a rewatch of Dumb Money (2023). We should come together to screw over the capitalist system more often
Goodnight all

Tea has been a pork cutlet with chips and beans
To go along with this, a bit of the motorway cops thing
The washer-dryer reckoned it had finished, but a bit of actual steam came out when I opened it and stuff still seemed a bit damp, so I set it going again. I picked some kind of quick dry programme and it's adjusted the expected time down by about half within a couple of minutes of starting, so it should all be done soon

On the paracetamol now
Meanwhile, the dishwasher has done its magic, and now the mundane laundry is on
Somewhat heavier rain has arrived too

I may have been overoptimistic about the side effects. My head feels like there may be a headache in the offing, and I'm feeling a bit tired

Shopping done!
As expected, I didn't need much. It's just a shame this no longer means I didn't spend much
The rain turns out to just be occasional spells of drizzle, and it doesn't seem particularly windy now

Morning all
Dull. Overcast. Damp. Currently 15 degrees with a high of 17 expected. Chance of light showers for the rest of the day. Barometer down to 1010 mBar.
Sunrise 07:05; Sunset 18:34 BST
I have no idea what today will bring. It's all a great unknown at this moment.

Morning.
Friday.
Grey.
Sunless.
Drizzly.
Misty: can't see the other side of the valley by there boyo.
Wetly wet.
Warmish side of chilly in here at 18.6 deg, 18.5 in the kitchen, 17.5 in the leanto.
1003.5 mBar, 29.63333 in Hg, 752.6868 Torr, 14.55454 psi, (down from 1007 last night), 65% RH (Lidl electric).
Meanwhile on the 20th of February 2020 Churchill popped in, along with BR14 (celebrating his half MillenniOM) and Brillo, NF remarked on the chill since the rain had stopped, and WTFH popped in too.
Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: the thing about antibiotics. Noon o'clock news. The argument programme: feckit <click>.
Can see across the valley now, boyo, looks wet over by there. About as wet as it is over by here..
Bored. Now. No walk today since I'm not going out in this.
Nothing on the box.
Looking at abandoned houses on FB instead. And even that has palled.
Freecell score in the endless drizzle: 90%, running average: 84%.
Just watched a vid about Trump's dementia: we're doomed.
Tea: Mr Brains faggots with peas & such.
Entertainment: More or Less (again: maybe I'll remember some of it this time). 17 o'clock news. PM.
News Quiz.
Coast & Country on ITVW. Portmeirion featured again. I think that MiniMoke was electric. Plus some castle up north: Castell Y Bere. In the middle of nowhere.
Foyle's War: Elise. I like that one.

Morning denizens
It's a grey day out, damp from last night's rain (which is expected to resume shortly) and still a bit breezy. Quite mild though: already at 14°C (though it "feels like" 11° because of the wind) and expected to reach 17° by lunchtime, then remain there until sunset. The barometers have plummeted to 996/1004mB
I awoke a little earlier than expected this morning and decided I might as well get up. And as I'm up, I figure I might as well pop down to Not as Big Sainsbury's for the small number of items it would be convenient, though not absolutely necessary, to lay in
