    PS Also an "Ignore everyone except zeity" option would be great. Then I can just un-ignore a few other people. Much easier.

    You've repeatedly stated that the total EU migration is only 20% of the total, when in fact it represents close to 40% of the foreigners who have come here since 2004 and about 30% of the net migration.

    Even if you restrict your argument to the "EU8" countries, those 8 fairly small countries make up 15% of the net migration of foreign nationals into the UK over the last decade. That's hardly a "small portion" as it's slightly more than came from the rest of the EU including Bulgaria and Romania.

    I do not deny that EU8 immigration to the UK was taking place since the borders opened for the free flow of capital, goods, services and people. I merely demonstrated that historically EU8 migration was a small portion of the overall migration - a simple fact that is very often lost during fervent anti EU discussions.

    I also believe that curbing the size of bogus college industry which resulted in sharp decrease of non EU migration was a good thing but I am wary of a few other anti immigration measures. I can also see how these restrictions could create resentment among Asian population who still feel that England 'Owe them'.
