actually large amounts of public money have been spent reducing the width of roads and adding chicanes, humps, and so on... such is the fashion amongst the anti car nutters currently in fashion in our public sector

I was told LA was even worse. <shudders>

Least in Toronto you can get out and have a sandwich unlike the stretches of the M25 I've been on.

If we converted the railway lines all into motorways and got rid of all the bus lanes (ok just ban all buses and caravans that would be simpler) and make all lorries only drive at night

That would help for a while...

    more unsubstantiated and incorrect drivel?

Do you just let your mouth open and let it dribble out?

More than a million foreign motorists obtain UK driving licence despite never taking a test here | Mail Online

EU licence you can drive on a foreign licence for 3 years.

So yes it appears at least a million immigrants are driving around the UK, but probably far more than that.

What we need is more immigration, just to ease the congestion and reduce the number of cars on our well-maintained roads. Only a racist would argue against this!

All we need is a massive uplift in the oil price thus pricing motorists off the roads.

    My logic is infallible.
