Could have been worse - could've been the puppy.
Whilst I wouldn't wish what happened on anybody, some people really do ask for it. Hopefully she and her friends will at least learn something from it.

If it had gone off when they took the picture it could have taken them both out.
Also from the picture, it's hard to be sure which is the girl... the ugly one on the right or the one with the fake beard.
