Ive also got a Samsung. PVR is fussy about which drives it will work with. I bought a 2TB unit from Novatech and tv seems happy with that.

The recording setup is rubbish as it only goes by time and not by programme..so if the programme carries on for a few minutes past the time in the guide..you miss the last five minutes. A Sky+ box is smarter I imagine.

The other annoying thing is if you are in the guide and see the channel you want to go to you can't just input the number...you have to scroll down..which is slllowww.

Otherwise its a very nice TV.

    Try: TVs | AVForums.com - UK Online

Don't try: Gentile (as she'll dream about you and you'll die; and it will really happen, unlike the Mayan flop. When it came to death, Gentile had mastered the art, although she usually killed via very, very long posts...)

Has anyone bought a new TV lately and have any advice?
There is just on problem; the contents of TV programmes these days are crap.

You are better of investing in books.
