One is sans internet at home these days.

So I was off baaad last week for 3 days, back in for a day, then off on my "hols" until today.

I thought he worked in one of those revered establishments that will soon be charging their customers 9K a year.

They don't get a half term do they?

Might be the case that a lot of the students have now finished their courses for the year? My 19-year-old handed in his last deadline last friday at Uni, and although he is going back for a couple more weeks from next week, he is only doing that voluntarily to do some extra work towards next year's studies. Plus of course his rent is paid until June 15th.
Most of his flatmates and their course mates have all jacked it in for the year and have gone into full-on party/music festival mode.

Look, I'm a happily married man and therefore have no need of detailed explanations for why things are the way they are. Or why Mrs PL needs to go shopping, or why I can't wear certain clothes outside the house, or how one particular pair of black shoes differs from the others.

If he said he wasn't going to be here then that's as much detail I can handle.

It's a much simpler life this way.
