Their DNS provider couldn't cope with the many DDoS attacks of the last few days and pulled them. Try WikiLeaks (wikileaks) on Twitter for a bunch of alternatives like WikiLeaks and keep going back through their twitter feed to earlier this morning if you want to find IP addresses as well

Mrs RC mentioned this earlier. Something to do with the US government getting the .org site pulled from the domain servers, or some such.
