    Not that I know off. My mother's paternal grandfather was scottish, so possible. On my dads side I'm descended from French aristrocrats who came over in the 1830s. They were in the first Napolean's bodyguard and originated in Switzerland. So I've kind of come full circle.

    This evening I'll be going to a community festival where we celebrate the time of pig slaughtering and eat the results. All free, including booze, paid from my taxes. Only citizens may attend, so it sucks a bit if you're not a citizen, but as a resident, you have to pay tax here.
