In Tabor (the Czech Republic) I regularly drank until 5-6 am and just felt tired when I woke up. Here I feel like someone has caved my head in with a sledge hammer.
I was told it might be due to the higher number of chemicals that gets pub in the beer here?

How is it that when I'm away, how ever much I drink for however many days I seem to not get a bad headachey hangover yet everytime I go out on a Friday night I wake up with a proper stinging headache and have to write off most of my Saturday.
I can be away on Rugby trips drinking from dawn to almost dawn again for a few days, feel like death but no stingy headache, Vegas I can't remember how I got home some nights and although tired next day, no stingy headache. Even golf weekends. Skin full on the Saturday night but up and ready for brekkie and an 8.30 tee time.
Drink roughly the same things IPAs a few Guiness and maybe a JD or two towards then end. Go out in a couple of different towns so can't be one particular pub or brand.
It's getting really bloody annoying now. Anyone got any pearls of wisdom?

I'm a big fan of Nutrex's essential amino acids especially as they contain a hydration complex which will hopefully help.

PS. another thing I do, if I feel like I'm going to wake up with a thumping head, is take a couple of ibuprofen with a glass of milk when I go to bed.

Wait till Testmangler gets here. You think I'm tight. Pack of 12 of them is worth more than his house.

Depending on the severity, 2 or 3 ibuprofen first thing in the morning usually do the trick. If necessary, another dose late morning. Apparently, they're not recommended on an empty stomach, not that you really GAS when your head's pounding. Anyway, I swill 'em down with milk.
I've never tried aspirin but I find paracetamol useless.

Expensive stuff, mind. Cheaper to just drink more water.
