In that example its the parents fault, it's neglect. But yep its always the government or societies fault for not teaching people how to do a basic search on google.

It is the government's problem, yes it may be the parents fault.
In which case all of the UK would have given up smoking, betting and have max half a glass of wine each week. We would all do 30 minutes of cardio a day and cider wouldn't be considered their five a day.
Through the wife knowing everyone there are still plenty of kids living on old style Turkey Twizzlers and chips the parents just don't know better.
One kid lost all their baby teeth prematurely because the parents gave them full sugar juice, round our house you get water and juice is a treat.

NAT I'm all for compassion and understanding but it's not hard to go-online and get a run down on how to eat healthly. I do agree that processed food is pushed in adverts and in the supermarkets. But there has to be some personal responsibility.
