What if you buy live mice for your pet snake?

I was told decades ago it was illegal.

I use to have housemates who had snakes.They would buy frozen mice or pinkies depending on the size and breed of their snake(s)

You can however give lizards live insects.

Edited to say you would only be found out giving them live mice if you had to take them to the vets with an injury caused by their food fighting them.

Don't kill your pet unless you know what you are doing e.g. have a shotgun.

Not gonna be much left if you are going to use that on a hamster.

A vet who watched the footage described the content as deeply disturbing and said the pet, which was named Mr Nibbles, would have suffered both physical and psychological damage as hamsters were prey animals which could feel fear.
