The turbines will be producing less electricity. But they're not the cause of declining wind speeds (They do slow wind down, but in comparison to what's happening, it's negligible).

Down here in Cornwall it seems to have got windier over the 20 years we've been here. But perhaps that's just us getting old and worn down by lashing wind and rain.

As I understand it average wind speeds are declining, even the IPCC seems to think so, so it must be true

Now when I was at school I learned about the Conservation of Energy: that energy could not be created or destroyed, only its form could be changed.

So with all the wind turbines being put up everywhere, isn't this going to become a self-fulfilling prophecy, making the turbines even more useless - sorry, less productive - than they are now?
