Eligibility
All former Prime Ministers’ are eligible to draw on the PDCA.
The allowance
The current limit is set at £115,000 and has remained frozen since 2011.
That's PA for life, plus 10% on top for pension contributions.
I'd be smiling too.

I think it must have been quite tough to give that speech.
The policies weren't inherently bad; they were "just" not costed, the wrong measures for the current time and poorly communicated. It's no wonder it all went downhill so fast. Some of those would have been great vote winners to announce next year.

Hard to criticise her for quitting, probably the thing she's fighting is the desire to stay on. Although that half-smile might be pure and simple relief.Originally posted by WTFH View PostShe seemed to almost smile as she delivered the statement.
Turns out she's a quitter, not a fighter.
I'm glad she didn't try to string it out.

In with a Queen; out with a King.
Certainly a unique way to come and go.
Edit: Actually she joins Lord Salisbury with this.
