    Ta, I was just doing the sums so checking I was correct. It wasn't meant to appear a complaint.

    I loved the please spend all your money on car parks when you do early / late shifts because we sold all our car parking spaces.

    Starting salaries of £500 per week (£26,000 per annum for drivers starting on our entry grade) rising to over £31,000 per annum with service related increases.
    (500/40)=£12.50 oh its gone up! Still under average UK wage with a full PCV on unsociable shifts.

    And after years of service its a massive £14.90 luckily they offer training at a lower wage.

    We have no car parking at our garages, so you must be able to demonstrate your ability to commute by public transport to your requested location, bearing in mind that the job involves working shifts when public transport can be limited at certain times of the day.

    Oh it had something to do with Brexit when we stopped abusing Eastern European drivers and the rest of Europe had a shortage they went home or to drive in Germany etc. Brexit did free people from low paid wages which is why the slavers are sad.
