Yeah it was a blinder the first couple of seasons. To its credit it did get really good for a while later, whichever season John Lithgow was in - great performance. But the last 2-3 seasons really started to tire.

I watched the entire show apart from the very last episode... maybe I'd better see what happened!

It was pretty dire by the end though, sadly, as it was an excellent show.
