    Today I was doing home schooling, I will work later. My Boss is fine with this.

    Having watched this unfold from the comfy position of a reasonably well paid and secure job working from home then people have to be realistic.

    Most people I know on Furlough or out the door would suggest paying the bills and keeping a roof over your head and food on the plate is the key not being passed over for promotion. If that is what your manager suggests might happen because you love your kids then revising your CV and getting the hell out of there post Covid is probably your best bet.

    The article fails to mention what they do which I think is very key here. If her company is being a set of tits which it appears they are then she needs to be leaving anyway IMO.     I had a discussion today with a client saying that if I'd been furloughed at any point I would have volunteered to help the school sort out their remote schooling.
    Given that today was my daughter's first day of Google classrooms and it has been shockingly thought out.

    A Word document, that the child is supposed to edit, but the only content in the document is a .jpg file
