I think it's a reasonably good new idea. There are too many low grade UK universities churning out graduates who really aren't well equipped for the world of work.
However, charging £9k p.a. tuition may be pushing it. It's one thing for a well known brand like Dyson to start a university but unless the 'strong links with employers' really does materialise, then their new graduates in a few years time might struggle to compete against known universities, even the low grade ones.
