Nope - final flight was internal in the UK. We bypassed border control in T4. Stayed in a hotel for the night, taxi to T5 and a BA flight to Manchester in the morning. Used our passports as photo ID for BA, but never once went through border control

Heathrow Terminal 4 - we went through the baggage scan again but never showed our passports to anybody

So you can now tell HMRC you've emigrated and avoid paying any UK tax. Result!

But good luck with anything needing security clearance now that you appear to have decided to stay for an extended break in the middle east.

The CCTV facial recognition probably told them all they need to know. Did you go through passport control at the final destination?
