hint when a councillor is fired for failing to attend any meetings without a valid excuse, selecting the utterly useless councillor husband as the replacement candidate doesn't go down well. And I believe the Lib Dems may have repeated that statement a lot in campaigning...
probably another lazy labour councillor.in Gade Valley, on Three Rivers Council in Hertfordshire, the Libs won by more than 400 votes from the Conservatives following a 24-point jump in support

hint when a councillor is fired for failing to attend any meetings without a valid excuse, selecting the utterly useless councillor husband as the replacement candidate doesn't go down well. And I believe the Lib Dems may have repeated that statement a lot in campaigning...

40 pt swing to Lib Dems in Sunderland
Labour not doing too well.
Liberal Democrats celebrate stunning council by-election wins in both North and South | The Independent
and the Tories didn't do much better
The party triumphed in Sandhill, in the Labour heartland of Sunderland, with a 41.5 point leap in its vote share. Labour support fell by nearly 30 points.
And in Gade Valley, on Three Rivers Council in Hertfordshire, the Libs won by more than 400 votes from the Conservatives following a 24-point jump in support.Tags: None
