Offloaded the wife and baby to the mother in laws in Jersey last weekend so the boom came earlier.

Given it's snowing heavily, going to Verbier definitely deserves a However, if you go to the other side of the mountain, you'll find the pistes less busy and the restaurants etc. somewhat cheaper.
