I have one but more for the email address than anything else. me@pondyltd.co.uk looks better than pondy007@freemail.co.uk IMHO.
Then it's minimal effort to stick a joomla site up containing articles explaining what you do and where you've done it.

The .co.uk to my company is taken but I can have a .ltd.uk for £15.

Especially as plan B is an all signing and dancing Azure site with real time ETL to a rapidly growing data warehouse.
I don't however think I would bother with a website if all it said was I'm a contractor doing xxxx, look at me.Last edited by eek; 2 September 2011, 14:07.

The starter package at 123-reg is £2.49 per month. They would want about 60 quid upfront for 2 years if I go ahead.
Does anybody else have a webs site? Is it worth it?
I would recommend Vidahost over 123-reg its much cheaper and if you want to take it seriously the Customer Service is exceptional, tickets answered pretty much any hour of the day and always within an hourLast edited by SimonMac; 2 September 2011, 10:41.
