Obvious answer is to do it cash in hand, not through the books. It works for many landscapers.

Just give them an invoice. Stick in "any other income" on your tax return. Done.

Does the client make the determination?
If yes, then what is their determination?

If outside then go LTD... duh....
If inside then see if they'll use you as a sole trader? If not then will they put you on their payroll?

Was via agency and umbrella. Obviously, no agency contract in place any more.
My ltd I shutdown years ago (because I was inside IR35).

Whats best way to deal with? Find umbrella who will process my payroll following direct payment from client?

Or direct with client as a sole trader or something similar?
