Totally agree. I think going for a local bod in this day and age of contractor specialist sausage factories with FA is a poor choice. I've done it and been bitten hard, as have others. Local guys don't really care about your bitty low priced work that could be done by an entry level accountant so more likely not to get a decent service and unlikely to be cheaper.

They can be very reasonably priced too compared to a lot of the ‘specialist’ contractor accountants.

    £2000 per month.

I will then outsource it to an accountant for £150 a month.

Any dodgy accountant can PM you, so I would advise performing due diligence on them before choosing. And please remember that this is a Professional forum gisp.

Sorry to hear that you have issues seeing such a basic thing. Try harder.

Accountants aren't allowed to tout business on here so it's up to you to do your own legwork. What you are asking for is their bread and butter so will all be able to offer those services. Everyone else seems to be able to find an accountant without advertising on here and it isn't hard.

Check the Accountant recommendations tab and give a few a call and see if you gel with them.

Request for accounting quote for LTD

    Hi all,

I know there are some great accountants around here.

I'd like to get a quote for a new LTD company. Please PM me if interested. I might be slow to reply.

    In brief:

    New LTD.
    IT consultancy.
Has access to freeagent if this is going to make it easier for you AND cheaper for me
Only end of year accounts and tax return submissions (HMRC and CompHouse) needed.
    No VAT/Payroll/SATR etc required.
Anticipated turnover - hard to tell - around £80k

    Thanks in advance.
