Indian consultancy, happens all the time. Usually cos the client is based in UK, Europe etc so they work shifts to make sure they have cover during business hours. They also are forced to work stupid hours. Not right of course but it's nothing new....

Not my experience at all. Think Agile is a much better way of delivering projects than the old waterfall way. Agile projects are far more interesting and for testers you get much more involved with developers, so you get better technical skills. Only downside for Agile projects are Sprint Retrospectives,...

You are right that it's hard to stop companies offshoring. You can make them pay more tax but then they will just up sticks and move to a different country. However, successive governments could have stopped giving out visa's quite easily and then the real kick in the teeth is this ridiculous agreement...

My thoughts too. Find it incredible anybody can last 2-3 years without working in this day and age when everything is so expensive. I personally could get to 18 months with savings. But as you say 3 months out I would also be taking whatever I could. 12 months out I would be getting out of IT and doing...

Interested in this. I loaned money from my company to a SPV that I setup to buy a BTL property. I was under the impression that if I close my ltd company there would be no tax implications....
