He may have been involved in the legislation but I doubt he has had anything to do with it since. The legislation is fairly clear, what HMRC are trying to do with it though is not, HMRC are stretching the legislation as much as they can to try to get it re-written....

HMRC not quite telling the fully story or letting the truth get in the way of a good threatening and bullying campaign... no surely not.
Anyway according to an article on C-UK we can expect an outcome 2031 ish. If we are lucky.
A conclusion and all sides settled around 2040...

The advice at the time was to sign, I suspect it will be the same. Again check with your specialist really. Here (this forum) is often just opinion we do try to share facts from advisors etc., but always talk to your specialist.
Those who didn't sign last time have had the CCJ issued but...

IMHO the new directors don't know what is happening or going on and probably staying silent while they get legal advice as you can 100% expect the barristers and tax lawyers are bombarding them with questions. "And don't call me Shirley"...

I highlighted it a few pages ago but here's the state of play as of now:
CK sold up to Magi GJJ Limited, Magi GJJ Limited then sold to Omnia Outsourcing which distanced the former directors (who I have to say seemed very up for the fight and very organised) from CK. Those former directors...

I think he only meant silent in opinion. He'll still be communicating his other work for us....

Bullying yes, panicking yes, calculated yes, every adjective you need applies to HMRC. They truly are the very definition of a law unto themselves. Correct at the tribunal they basically said, 'we don't give a sh** about time barred'
No one would be daft enough to put it past them to try...

It seems HMRC think the same, they started sending even more stand still agreements which takes them roughly to 2033.

That's the way I'm reading it too. Did you pay off the demand when it came? Pay HMRC in full no questions asked and yes they have no need to investigate you further as you have 'admitted' you were an MSC in theory.
The bit I need to drill into a little more is did HMRC accept the CT and...

Can you explain a little bit more please as little of this makes sense how you have written it. Later you say HMRC thought Boox were an MSCP but struck you off because of good faith?
My journey is well documented and two of my years got thrown out. Your journey sounds different and odd...

Absolutely, when I got mixed up in a DR many years ago I have to say HMRC were very good (eventually) with the TTP.
Just another one of those 'shouty' moments from the Rotweiller on the last day, a day I still can't believe but I have never been to a Tribunal before. I thought their main...

+1 for David too. I suspect he may end up having to represent the CK clients eventually.
The whole thing is an utter mess with figures being bandied about at random, one of the key points of Boox's defence actually which HMRC admitted, HMRC simply made up the figures. With fancy calculators...

That is pretty much exactly what they are doing.
The irony of course is had all of 'these people' been PAYE HRMC wouldn't have seen a penny of CT, VAT, DT two types of PAYE and two types of NI, claim zero benefits etc., To me I am not sure why HMRC just wouldn't leave alone. We all know...
