    Morning denizens

It’s foggy! Not even a bit misty, but a fairly decent fog

It’s also 7°C, again, with an expected high of 12°, again. The barometers are down a little at 1007/1015mB. And it seems the cloud might clear a bit towards sunset

Tonight, I resumed The Three-Body Problem, in which it appears theoretical physics is in trouble

Monday again tomorrow. Four weeks until Easter

    I’ll have a look

Tea has been sausage and mash with onion gravy

And this was accompanied by the rest of the episode of Police Interceptors I started watching the other evening; and with that watched, I’m out of new episodes of that ...

    Ah! Mystery solved

I found a DB dump from before the “upgrade” and used that to work out where one of the threads ought to be - and it turned out it had been merged with another thread! When I tried to visit it here on the live site, I was redirected to the appropriate point in that...

Lunch has been some leftovers, accompanied by some thing called Outback Truckers in which Australians drive lorries

The last few hours have been spent digging through the post import stuff for the new forum software. Once I’d investigated it thoroughly, it turned out not to be too...

    Morning denizens

Grey day out again, and there seems to have been a spot of rain, judging by the general dampness of everything. It’s 7°C, as it so often seems to be nowadays, with an expected high of 11°, and the barometers aren’t much changed at 1012/1020mB

Lots of wildlife stuff, including Monkey Life, on the box today

Tonight, I finished reading Ted Chiang’s Exhalations. And then I started on The Three Body Problem by Cixin Liu - first part of a trilogy, so I may be on this for a while

Tea tonight has been a mixed grill thing from a nearby East African barbecue place. Nice, and lots of it!

    Afternoon denizens

Grey day out again and no soaring of the temperature, the present 9°C being as good as we’ll get. The barometers are up a bit though, at 1014/1022mB

More importantly: Monkey Life is back later!

It’s a repeat of the series...

Tonight’s major motion picture premiere was going to be one thing, but the first ten minutes or so made me realise I wasn’t in the mood for it. So I started something else, but soon realised I wasn’t in the mood for that either. They both seemed good, just not for me tonight

Rack of ribs (“firecracker” flavour) and chips for tea

    Shopping done!

Big Sainsbury’s today because, as previously noted, it’s Viz Week. Having secured that first, I then got everything else that I remembered needing, along with a few things I probably don’t

    Morning denizens

Grey morning today, with even a hint of mistiness when looking far away. No rain though, and none expected. It’s 7°C and will pretty much stay there apart from a brief rise to 8° late in the afternoon, and the barometers are up a bit at 1009/1017mB
