Not withstanding HobNob's calculation I'd be taking the role as a contract, you might find you'll get paid quicker than FTC i.e. weekly rather than monthly. This happened to me when I restarted contracting in 2015 and got paid weekly, which was a surprise as my previous contracting was billing monthly...
