My CV hasn't changed format since 1993, it now gets updated with each new role and skills\tech etc. I'm one of those 5+ pages, 7 to be exact. I figure the recruiter doesn't have to read all of it, the most important and recent bits are in the first 3 pages. Also it's not like we fax them across anymore...
