You don't have intelligence going into the forces as a squaddie fat boy, that's where you keep making mistakes. And if you actually knew anything about it, you would be aware that you can get paid more in a very junior technical role than you can as an Officer in the British Army, AND come out with more marketable qualifications too.
Doing what I did I met a large number of others who, like myself, gained 5 O Levels and more yet did not opt to go down the Officer route. And that was back when O Levels were not handed out with luncheon vouchers too.
But as you have consistently shown, you actually know shag all about how our Army operates, so that explains things.
