Sounds like things are moving in the right direction. My parents have been on blood pressure meds for years, and each time they the doctors decide to *tweak* the prescription my parents have to endure all manner of side effects until the doctors decide they were actually fine on the original medication.

Splendid news

Both Mrs BI and the Quack deterred me from looking up any information on high blood pressure. I finally did so a few days ago.



It was regularly above 180 / 130 when at rest. Life expectancy at that rate is 2 to 3 years. Based on my experience of symptoms disappearing, the doctor reckons I have had dangerously high blood pressure for some years.

flip, flip, flippity flip!

Hence when I say it is now "High", at 110/90, the vet is happy!



BTW: this is the frowny smiley... For me it is a tick in a blue box. What's going on there?

I had success on that front. Chips, eggs, sausages and beans, bread and butter, 2 pints of Doombar and one of the local strong stuff. Her Ladyship managed a huuuuge chicken in white sauce, rice and just a few Screwdrivers.

Marvellous.

Now I'm all mellow.

Alcohol bad for blood pressure? I think not.
