Just wittnesed a bump dropping the kids off

Dropped them off at childminders and went back to give a statement - people involved not happy as I complained about the parked cars on the blind bind where it happened and the car that hit them was going to fast ( in my opinion) as I had right of way, and he overtook the parked cars and then lost it on the bend and ploughed in to them.

If he had stopped/slowed down to let me past the accident would not have happened.

Also, the "Getting Started" has five steps

True, but they are rather simple steps (that could possibly have been condensed into fewer).

Research that I can't be bothered to find the links to at this time of night shows that people (that is, normal people, not geeks like us) are very unlikely to go beyond three steps in a "Getting Started" process. However, they go mad for one where they are told up front that there are only three steps.

Even three steps can be too much for some people - specifically at ClientCo (where the average reading age of staff on the production line is around 9 years old) we have to keep things very simple. I was all for generating an error message that told the user what the problem was and what to do next, but instead (going on past experience) we opted for the "Pick up phome, dial XXX" message.

As I cave my statement to the nice , the other went over to MY car and started looking around it, tyres and looking at the tax disc, then pushing the boot of my car up and down

I Thought at one point he was going to start kicking the tyres !

Not sure if he was hoping to find something wrong or offer to buy it
