My mum's probably going into hospital for her gallstones op tomorrow - about time too
It's keyhole surgery so she should be able to make a fairly speedy recovery - well, as speedy as can be expected at the age of 75.
A friend sent her a card. It says:
Over 17,000 people are hoping you get well soon.
They're in the queue for your bed.
