Whilst those calls can be annoying I agree, they are in your best interests. Those readings are not good and whilst you may feel fine, hypertension is a serious condition that is not known as an often undiagnosed killer for no reason. Get it sorted, even if it means taking a pill every day for the rest of your life.

Mine is OK, because it is checked every year as part of my Class 1 medical for flying. Which poses another question: As I am not going to get my ATPL or CPL exams done this year, is it worth bothering renewing my Class 1 medical? I could just let it revert back to my Class 2 which isn't due for some time.
Might have to look what the criteria are for getting one re-issued which has expired; as I don't fancy another trip to Gatwick to start from the beginning again.
