They will most likely be rolls involving the transition away from Ford based IT. The transition gravy train has had some extra carriages fitted recently to accomodate more "enablers" or some such bs.

Yeap - all the roles I have gone for are on the Transition/cloning project - Whatever happens they have got to split their systems away from Ford I suppose. It is anoying that the same roles were advertised by Incat "daily"for over 6 weeks ( as well as agents) just think of all the CV's they must have received.

Has anyone got any inside information on what exactly is going on? Surely some of the contractors they got rid off would have fitted into this role?

It's not entirely clear as to which IT contract positions have been affected by the announcement, but from what you said previously I wouldn't be surprised if some attempt is made to take them back on under those "revised terms" you mentioned a few days ago.
