I like this shot of the Aurora Borealis. I think I caught a brief glimpse of the Northern Lights in Lapland last year, although at the time I was walking back from a meal where I'd consumed some free local beer

I've only seen the aurora once, but it was from the cockpit of a Saab 340 at 18,000 feet over Doncaster when I was flying up to Aberdeen about ten years ago

I bet that was quite something! I just caught a few whisps of grey and green.

It wasn't massive or anything, but it was very cool given the context. The captain invited anybody who was interested to come and poke their head into the cockpit to have a look - he said it was the furthest south he'd ever seen it
