              No, didn't have enough depth of water to move the floating dam, so we do it tomorrow on a 15.1m tide. it gives us another 2 feet of water so the dam isn't touching bottom.

                Yes maybe, but I could bore you about VIN plates and Canadian Tyre Labels if that would help return the favor.

                  We used about twenty tyres as fenders yesterday, drilled big holes in them and strung them on a wire.

                  Don't know if they were Canuck ones or not

                      A friend of mine used a pile of them to land a large helicopter on about a month ago because the gear wouldn't come down. Worked rather well apparently.
