I've given up trying to be a wonderful dad, competent will do me if I can get them to 18 without screwing them up, I'll be a happy man

Also, one of the by-products of being a parent is you start to forgive your own parents for the heinous crimes you imagined they prepetrated against you as a youngster

Finally made it into the office after my normal 25 minute drive took me 2 hours this morning. Something to do with J5 of the M42 being closed I think, so the last 5 miiles were done at a crawl through Solihull.

I think it's me rebelling both my primary and secondary schools were convent schools and unlike the english education system - you stay in secondary school until you have done your a-levels - by the time I was 18, I was sick of the sight of nuns...
