This bally framework is now complaining about perfectly acceptable constructs - it's also something that should maybe log a warning, rather than throwing an exception and shutting the whole thing down

If they're testing for the condition before doing something, why not just not do it rather than stopping the show

Let's see if this ugly hack works... good job it's open source Comment

Nope, a quick rootle around in the debugger reveals that it's due to some kind of fundamental brokenness - as what I'm doing is basically straight out of the docs, I blame them

Luckily, one of them will be in tomorrow, so he can at least confirm that it's not my fault, or explain whatever magic incantation hasn't made into the docs yet

Until then, I think it's and goodnight from me and goodnight from me

Hi EDOriginally posted by El_Diablo View PostBe calm Nick

 Go home and relax.

Home... that's the place I go to on Friday evening and leave again on Monday morning, isn't it

No Can Do... but maybe I can get there in about seventeen hours from this post

Fingers crossed... and maybe legs, if I forget to go for a piss before getting caught up in a tailback for five hours Comment

And after polishing off my exhaustive rant in the "web front ends suck" thread over in General, I really must get to sleep
