      At college we had a couple of bods like that - they just didn't "get it".

      I found and find programming so natural and easy, I cannot comprehend a mindset that cannot do it.

          That's it exactly, a mindset.
          You have to set your mind to following a pattern of logical and progressive thought.
          For some it comes as second nature.

          By the way, this skill is in complete contradiction to the Language skill (foreign Languages)

          I have noticed that the ability to learn a new foreign language is mostly lacking in good programmers, probably for the very reasons that make them good coders. spoken or Foreign languages are lacking logical progression
