No, I keep things like that to a minimum. Standing Order for the rent and Direct Debit for the telecomms (they didn't give me any other choice) and biannual water rates (which I'd pay all in one go if they gave me the option).Originally posted by FiveTimes View PostDon't you pay by standing order/direct debit ?

I'm not sufficiently organised to remember to ensure there's enough money in the current account at the right time for any more than that, and resent being stung for bank penalty charges when I muck it up
