In my case, two beer kits (one 40 pint India Pale Ale and one 40 pint Yorkshire Bitter).

In Mrs BI's case, some huge quantity of Bilberry wine 'cos she has a maiden auntie who can't get enough of the stuff.

We seem to be getting, at a guess, just over 30 MPG. Given most of the mileage is motorway, I suspect that is not good.

Surely a modern car should be doing better than that?

My 19-year-old 1.6i Orion gets considerably better than that
