Bit parky out there
Every Saturday I go out and buy the newspaper, primarily because it has the TV guide for the week.
But I hardly watch any telly these days, and I can get the TV guide online.
So why do I bother?

I know, it seems a bit strange, I look up everything that I need to know online, but I still buy the Radio Times. I think it is easier to look through if you need to absorb a large amount of information.Originally posted by NickFitz View PostBit parky out there

Indeed. It just occurred to me that for six months I've been buying it on a Saturday, finding out that there's nothing to watch on Saturday and Sunday, then ignoring the rest of it (because I don't really watch telly when I'm in London) until I get back on Friday evening, when I probably only watch HIGNFY anyway.Originally posted by Gonzo View PostI know, it seems a bit strange, I look up everything that I need to know online, but I still buy the Radio Times. So I don't even try to absorb more than a small amount of information from it.Last edited by NickFitz; 29 December 2007, 17:37.Comment
