My solution for getting a tune out of my head came to me when I did a stint on call-logger work some years ago. Mentally screaming:

worked wonders. Sadly, though, I did it out loud after taking one or two spectacularly numpty calls. Hey ho. Still, a reputation for 'scaredy weirdo' doesn't do anyone in IT any harm. IMHO.
