    Morning.

    Thursday.

    Dry.

    Sunny.

    Blue sky.

23.3 deg in here, 25.3 in the kitchen, 23 in the leanto, 21 out the back, 21 in the salting house.

1013 mBar, 29.91 in Hg, 759.8 Torr, 14.69 psi, (down from 1015 last night), 60% RH (Lidl electric).

Meanwhile on the 2nd of April 2020, between 17:35 and 17:37, AndyGarbs, Brillo, covbob, and LM popped in.

Washing frenzy in progress. The shirts have been out on the line for 10 minutes so they should be nearly dry now. .

I think my barometer is borked. .

Shirts in off the line & met the iRon along with other stuff that seems to have dried in 10 or 15 minutes.

Entertainment: The archive hour: The Edwards Archive: interviews with newsreel cameramen in the 70s that was intended to be used to make a LaserVision disc but was cancelled when the format failed to take off. Edwards was given the film back by Pathe about 25 years later.

Since the WM was complaining about "Hygiene" the bedding wash was at 60 deg & it's all out on the line.

Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: Movies: War. Then some septic twat looking for King John's lost treasure. Good luck with that. Oh feck: the metal detecting moron from Oak Island has just offered the presenter some jellied eels.

Everything in off the line & airing upstairs: the fitted sheet has met its doom. .

Jack Hargreaves Old Country: teaching kids to fish. I wonder where those kids are now, some 40 odd years later & if they're still fishing.

Tea: baked beans & baked spud. Nice enough. Entertainment: PM waffling on until <click>.

Book. Gosh. Howard Marks does waffle on a bit, though not as much as some of the other contributors.

    Bab5 S3 E4 "Passing through Gethsemene".

      Sunrise 05:43; Sunset 20:28 BST

Up and about a bit earlier than usual on account of a potential new client wanting to talk to me

Lunch has been a roast beef bap

This was the first sampling of the baps I baked yesterday. Initial conclusions are that though the recipe in the manual said to add an egg, I think they’d be better without it. Also, it would probably be worth leaving them to rise a little longer. I already went longer than the recipe said, but an extra ten or fifteen minutes wouldn’t do any harm. And finally, the recipe said it made ten to twelve but I wanted decent sized ones so I went for six, and eight would have been nearer the size I was aiming for. All duly noted for next time
