Tea has been the shepherd’s pie that I started making the other day. Turned out very well
To go with this, I started watching Artemis: To the Moon and Back on iPlayer

I finished watching the Artemis programme, then continued reading Here, There and Everywhere in which everybody has a terrible time during the recording of the White Album, leading to our narrator walking out on them one evening because he’s had enough of their tulip, and not working with them again until they hired him away to Apple to work on Abbey Road
Goodnight all

Morning all
TFIF, etc.
Overcast, looks like there was some overnight rain, but pleasant enough on our walk. Took delivery of a solar panel for the new shed. Still no word as to when the base is going in.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

Morning.
Friday.
Dry.
Grey.
Dark.
Sunless.
NotSoChilly in here at 15.4 deg, 15 in the kitchen, 14 in the leanto.
1011 mBar, 29.854 in Hg, 758.3 Torr, 14.66 psi, (down from 1012 last night), 70% RH (Lidl electric).
Meanwhile on the 25th of March 2020 AndyGarbs, covbob, LM, LondonManc, NF, openstrike and quackhandle popped in.
Raining that fine drizzle that's wetter than a really wet thing.
More cleaning of the springs, during which The Back twinged for the first time in a fair while so efforts were curtailed.
Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: thing about the V2 and dear old Wernher.
.
Noticed on the EPG that there was an ep of Skinwalker flagged as new: turned out to be rather less than new: 3 years old.
Further cleaning of the springs may resume later, or maybe it'll just be the usual rough vaccing. Depends on The Back.
Rough vaccing.
Freecell score: 88%, running average: 84%.
Tea: chilli con carne etc. Entertainment: PM <click>
Book.
Other book.
Taggart S10 E1,2,3 "Instrument of Justice". Wherein our hero has a new boss. Goodbye to the Biscuit. Or not. Well didn't see that one, er, coming, as it were.
. In the famous phrase or saying "You came to my house! You don't do that!" but without the claymore.

Morning denizens
Quite a sunny day with some clouds here and there. It seems it’ll probably get cloudier though, and the wind will get up; there’s also a chance of showers around teatime. It’s 12°C (“feels like” 6°) and the expected high is 15°. The barometers are up a smidgeon at 1005/1013mB
Meanwhile, at the block opposite, a removals van has been backed up close to one of the doors. This, it would appear, heralds the departure of the dogs and their ancillary staff. A sad day; it was always nice to see them trotting to and from the Dogmobiles with whichever of their humans they’d pressed into service that day

Drizzling a bit here and I've spent a while this afternoon learning and ordering the bits needed to install a solar panel on a shed.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

Tea has been chicken in red wine sauce with chips and peas. And lunch earlier was a ham bap
On the telly, the third episode of the documentary about the sinking of the ferry Estonia, which is starting to get into the conspiracy theories
The dog’s servants are back, but probably just to get some more stuff; they were on their balcony earlier. It looks like their big telly’s gone, so no more will I see that flickering away out of the corner of my eye. They seemed to watch a lot of sports

Oh, and no shopping today! Tomorrow’s when I’m heading south for our delayed Easter family get-together, so I might pop into the Sainsbury’s down there on the way back. They sell Old Hooky, which for some reason isn’t stocked by the ones here. I’m planning a proper trip to the shops on Monday or Tuesday though, including popping into M&S - I somehow never get around to going there these days
