Another week done!

More meetings this afternoon, but they were the developer info/chat ones so not as tedious. And I managed to get some code written which may or may not be what's required, as there are a few ambiguities about how that bit's supposed to work; but at least there's now something we can show and say "Is this how you wanted it?" and tweak it if not

And I cycled over the park, now much beset with students going to and from the University, to the surgery for my flu jab

I spent some time dithering over whether to go shopping tonight or tomorrow, before realising that I couldn't go tonight as I had a Big Chicken in need of roasting. So that's in the oven now. And on reflection, I reckon I could get away without any shopping this week

Speaking of microorganisms, in The Andromeda Strain, they've entered the underground lab and started trying to work out why the old man and the baby are still alive. It's taken just over half the book to get to this point, but he does spend more time filling in people's back stories and so on
