Really nice tea of chicken madras, rice, and naan

Consumed while watching a further episode of The Crash Detectives, which goes back to being interesting in an objective sort of way when it isn't about someone one knows being killed

Unfortunately secret Scotland was so uninneresting that it bit the dust 3 minutes after the advert break.

The extras on "To kill a Mockingbird" were rather more engaging.

Tonight's major motion picture premiere (well, first time I've seen it) was Midway (2019), concerning the early days of the war in the Pacific. Very good stuff, and "Included With Prime" in 4K at the moment if you want it

Though, as usual, you have to hunt for the 4K version. I dunno, if my streaming service gave people 4K stuff for no extra charge I'd really push that, but Amazon don't seem to have got the knack of that yet

And then, continuing with the history of naval conflict theme, Elizabeth: The Golden Age (2007). Mind you, the naval stuff only kicks in towards the end of that, as Mary Stuart needs to be fitted in too. But it's good stuff, although I'm not sure how historically accurate it is as most of my understanding of the history of that period comes from Caryl Brahms' and S. J. Simons' humorous novel No Bed for Bacon, which was set a decade or so later

And then a couple of bits of S4 of The Sopranos.

                Goodnight all

                      Dark. Very dark.

Dark grey sky verging on light black.

Warm at 16.4 deg in here.

                      1001 mBar and 67% RH.

                      Very wet.

Rivers of water in the gutters of the road.

                      Windy. Very windy.

Apparently Saturday but who the feck nose anymore?
