Woohoo, the contractor's favourite words: "room upgrade"
Checked in to the hotel in Tokyo at 5pm, reward card in hand, then went to the room. It hadn't been made up, there was still rubbish in the bin, etc.
Went back to reception as I couldn't get an answer when phoning them. DM turns up all apologetic. I've now got a corner suite with windows along 2 walls overlooking the river. Almost a shame I'm only here for one night.…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment
