Hmm, now I've got messages saying it's out for delivery today!Originally posted by NickFitz View PostThat'll be it
I'm still waiting for the new filter for the fryer, thanks to those pesky holidays. I ordered it last Thursday night, and paid extra for Saturday delivery. But of course they weren't working last Friday. My order was finally processed and the goods sent out today via DPD.
But they're still not scheduled to arrive until Saturday. If I'd just paid the normal amount, they'd be here tomorrow or Thursday
And, knowing my luck, I'll have to get up early on Saturday to take delivery, too

Sometime between 06:00 and 17:00
This despite the earlier emails claiming a one hour timeslot for delivery. But at least the messages were sent around 10:00, reducing the eleven hour window to seven hours
Having read these messages, I was just settling down with the first coffee of the day in my dressing gown when there was a knock at the front door. Hastily pulling on some clothes, I rushed down, expecting my delivery.
It was the postman with a package for flat two
